What the app stores
The app stores what you enter directly into it — player names, rubber and hand records, contracts, and scores — in a local database on your device. This data is used only to run the app's scoring and analytics features for you.
What the app doesn't do
- It doesn't send your data anywhere — there's no server, and the app doesn't require an internet connection to work.
- It doesn't use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising services.
- It doesn't access your contacts, location, camera, or microphone.
- It doesn't create accounts or ask for your name, email, or any other identifying information.
Export and deletion
You can export your data (CSV/JSON) from within the app for your own backup. Deleting the app from your device permanently deletes all of its data, since nothing is retained anywhere else.
Children's privacy
Above the Line isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it doesn't collect data at all.
